To actually sell in selling, it takes more than one skill. You need to learn to persuade, create perceived value, and overcome buyer objections. You need to stack multiple touchpoints, target a tribe, and so on.
Selling is a 12-step process. Which means there are 12 spots where you can f*ck up (and 12 spots where you can lose) a would-be sale.
Especially if you don’t really know exactly what you’re doing. Let’s just say I didn’t know what the 12 steps of selling were exactly. And that I definitely f*cked up many sales unnecessarily because of my ignorance.
